Most Memorable Hermits

An incomplete list, growing as this blog progresses. The list includes real and fictional hermits which are memorable to the author of this blog. To quote myself:  “Most  hermits we actually know about are not hermits absolutely – including yours truly.  For the memorable hermits list, I look to individuals who experience solitude deeply, report back and return to it, having discovered solitude’s value to them as a desired state.”
Nominations are always welcome, though inclusion is based totally on the subjective decision of the author.  Links take you to the respective hermit’s post in this blog.
